Two suspects, who admitted to being Gangster Disciples, have been arrested after allegedly shooting at another man. Police were called to the area of North Tennessee Boulevard and East Northfield Boulevard Friday morning just after 9. Officers talked to a woman, who told them her son was shot by two black males. A foot patrol of a nearby field turned up the suspects, identified as Tram Sweat and Quintshay Shannon. It turns out there were several warrants out for the arrest of Sweat in La Vergne and Gallatin. A K-9 officer found the weapons, suspected to have been used in the shooting, with spent 32-caliber rounds in the chamber. The suspects face several charges.
