WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WGNS News) - A six-month investigation into suspected illegal drug sales across nearby Warren County has led to more than 20 indictments and the arrests of 25 people, according to law enforcement authorities. The joint investigation, known as “Operation Freedom Revoked,” involved the McMinnville Police Department, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Drug Investigation Division, the FBI and the 31st Judicial District Drug Task Force.
On July 14, officers and agents canvassed Warren County and surrounding communities while searching for individuals indicted by the Warren County Grand Jury on July 10. Authorities reported that 23 people were arrested in connection with the indictments, while two additional individuals were taken into custody on unrelated charges.
The indictments primarily involve allegations of selling and delivering controlled substances, including methamphetamine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, cocaine and buprenorphine. All of those arrested were booked into the Warren County Jail.
Those arrested in connection with the operation include:
Johnathan Bond, of McMinnville, was indicted on four counts of the sale and delivery of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $25,000.
Ashley Burgess, of McMinnville, and Rafael Lopez, of McMinnville, were each indicted on two counts involving the sale and delivery of methamphetamine. Bond for each was set at $20,000.
Becky Davenport, of McMinnville, was indicted on two counts involving methamphetamine and two counts involving buprenorphine. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Robert Davidson and Justin Hill, both of Smithville, were each indicted on two counts involving methamphetamine. Davidson’s bond was set at $20,000, while Hill’s bond was set at $40,000.
Terry Fults, of McMinnville, was indicted on one count involving the sale and delivery of hydrocodone. His bond was set at $15,000.
Tabitha Gonzales, of McMinnville, was indicted on two counts involving hydrocodone. Her bond was set at $15,000.
Leonard Grubbs, of McMinnville, was indicted on two counts involving hydrocodone and two counts involving oxycodone. His bond was set at $20,000.
Carol Hobbs, of McMinnville, was indicted on four counts involving oxycodone. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Kenneth Knight, Ashley McNeil, Edwin Myers and Andrea Satterfield, all of McMinnville, were each indicted on two counts involving methamphetamine. Knight, Myers and Satterfield each received a $25,000 bond, while McNeil’s bond was set at $20,000.
Jamie Panter, of McMinnville, was indicted on two counts involving oxycodone and two counts involving cocaine. Bond was set at $25,000.
Donald Pennington and Tyson Scott, both of McMinnville, were each indicted on two counts involving oxycodone. Their bonds were set at $15,000 each.
Timothy Tate, Terri Tatum, Rachel Tucker and Heather Turner, all of McMinnville, were each indicted on two counts involving methamphetamine. Bond for each was set at $20,000.
Jeffery Underhill, of McMinnville, was indicted on four counts involving methamphetamine. His bond was set at $50,000, the highest bond among those listed in connection with the operation.
Jason Wade, of McMinnville, was indicted on two counts involving buprenorphine and two counts involving cocaine. His bond was set at $30,000.
Authorities also arrested Timothy Gay, of McMinnville, on an outstanding warrant for an alleged probation or parole violation. He was being held without bond.
Dustin McClure, also of McMinnville, was charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,000.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional arrests or charges could follow.
