Heart of Tennessee Pro Life, based in Murfreesboro, is hosting the first ever Heart of Tennessee Walk for Life. It will be held at the Rutherford County Courthouse Square this Saturday (January 25th) at 10am. Co-founder Lacy Buchanan says the event is being held in conjunction with Sanctity of Life Week. Buchanan, a local pro-life advocate whose son, Christian, is well known for a viral YouTube video that received over 11 million views and Amanda Lipetri have organized the event and the group hopes to conduct other events throughout the year. Heart of Tennessee Pro Life is a pro-life organization that was established in July 2013 to spread awareness about the pro-life movement and to share resources with families looking for pregnancy help. They have partnered with the local Pregnancy Resource Center and Heaven Sent Adoption Agency, along with many other local and state wide pro-life organizations to spread the message that all life is precious.
Amanda Lipetri, the organization’s cofounder said, “We are dedicated to sharing the truth about abortion and bringing about its abolition. We will offer direction to pregnancy support resources, post abortion healing through Bible study, and a community of support from others who share our passion for ending abortion!” Co-founder Buchanan stated, “We have an important message to share with people. We want to point families in the right direction when they don’t know what to do or where to go. We hope this rally will help spread a message of hope and get Heart of Tennessee Pro Life’s name out there as a place to go for families needing pregnancy help!”
