Family: Locally owned grocery store has two trailers back to back for "REAL" truckload sale

While Murfreesboro may not exactly qualify as a small town anymore, it still has that small town feeling when you visit locally owned businesses. And you have to love the creativity at most family run operations.

Take for example Jr’s Foodland on East Main Street. They don’t just have a sale, they have a truckload sale where customers actually climb up into two 48-foot trailers.  The refrigerated tractor trailers are parked back to back and there is one side door that allows customers to enter and exit. Scott Walker at WGNS visited the store and talked to CJ, the produce manager…

Johnny is Jr’s Foodland manager and he told us they stocked the trailers that total 96-feet, with everything…

CJ told us their truckload sale, which is literally in trucks, will feature giant cantaloupes on Friday and Saturday…

Murfreesboro may be growing, but we still have that small town feel that many appreciate and love. We still have places like Jr’s Foodland where the staff remember your name and still enjoy helping you to the car.
