8:10AM In June the EPA plans to release its Clean Power Plan which requires TVA to reduce emissions by 39%. National Mining Association's Luke Popovich says this might close three TVA power plants in Tennessee, threaten 8,000 coal related jobs in this state and increase power outages along with upping monthly power bills.
8:30AM Rick Sain shares that there will not be any changes when Fred's purchases Reeves-Sain Drugstore: the soda shop, home prescription deliveries and more all remain the same. Plus, Reeves-Sain's medical equipment facility, next to Haynes Hardware, was not a part of the transaction and is unchanged. Shane Reeves and Rick Sain will both remain.
