Linebaugh Public Library

The Linebaugh Public Library is conducting a Summer Reading Program for all ages, and it's built on the theme "Behind every story there's a super hero." As a result, Linebaugh Executive Director Rita Shacklett is talking to school groups and library patron in her Wonder Woman outfit (see below). She even visited NewsRadio WGNS in this caped outfit with gold bracelets that she would click together.

Joining Rita in the radio broadcast were Linebaugh's Youth Services Specialist Mindy Ferret and Youth Services Associate Laura Goodwin.

In addition to the summer activities, the Linebaugh Public Library is seeking ideas for a name for the proposed community technology center that is scheduled to open next year. Shacklett said, "The board met last night, and determined that a permanent name for this new facility needs to be used instead of calling it the technology center. Otherwise, we'll end up calling it by that name."
