Rutherford County is booming with tourist. For the first time in the history of Rutherford County, over 1 million hotel rooms have been sold within a running 12-month period (November 2014 through October 2015), that according to the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber reports that the numbers reflect an 8.7% increase over the last 12 months in hotel stays.
Comparatively, Tennessee has experienced a 5.6% increase in demand over the same time period.
