Best and "Most Miserable" Places to Live in Tennessee

The website RoadSnacks compiled data to come up with Tennessee's most miserable cities. Where do Rutherford County cities rank?

Lewisburg led the most miserable list with the third lowest in citizens with college degrees and the seventh highest unemployment in the state.

Others in the top 10 were Crossville, Columbia, Morristown, Memphis, Springfield, McMinnville, Knoxville, Sevierville and Greenville.

Germantown was listed as the happiest of the 52 cities analyzed. Smyrna was 14th, La Vergne 18th and Murfreesboro 23rd.

RoadSnacks compiled data in 22 categories, including the percentage of residents with a college degree, average commute times, employment rates, crime, cost of living, sunny days and more.
