An armed robbery was reported in Murfreesboro on Tuesday night (12/22/15). The incident took place at College Grove Apartments on the New Lascassas Highway.
The victim told officers that two masked men both armed with handguns ran up to her car while she was sitting in the drivers seat. One of the two men put a gun to the head of the 20-year old female while ordering her to give him her phone and iPad that was sitting next to her.
After the hold up, the victim called the police. A K9 searched the area following a scent to the 700 building in the apartment complex. However, the track ended in the parking lot, which likely meant the subjects had drove away in a vehicle.
So far, an arrest has not been made.
