Firehouse Subs in Murfreesboro Help Local Fire Department

Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department personnel attended the official dedication of equipment purchased with funds from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation at Firehouse Subs in Murfreesboro Friday, February 12. Several city and county dignitaries, Firehouse Subs corporate employees, and Firehouse Subs and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Co-Founder Robin Sorensen were in attendance at the event.

The department received a brush skid unit valued at $16,293.07 that has since been installed on a HMMWV to be used by MFRD for brush fires, airplane incidents, and disaster response.
