The 5th Annual March Into Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show to benefit the Tennessee Fisher House was held Saturday morning (4/2/2016) at the Stones River Country Club.
President of Murfreesboro's Fisher House at the V.A. Hospital Phil Barnett welcomed everyone to the event. He then introduced the Color Guard from the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office while leading everyone in reciting our Pledge of Allegiance.
Fashions from Trendy Pieces, Bella's Boutique and Penny's Closet brought much applause from the packed ballroom.
President-Election Tom Allard, who takes office in July, explained, "Our local Fisher House is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of Armed Forces, retirees, veterans and their families during a medical crisis. It offers them a comforting home environment when a loved one is receiving care."
