Man Says Threat to a Murfreesboro Medical Office was a Joke

Calling in a threat to a medical office is a bad idea.

Murfreesboro Police responded to Murfreesboro Medical Clinic on Tuesday morning around 9:45 in response to a patient making a threat. Evidently, the 74 year old patient told an employee at the offices that if he failed to get a referral from Dr. Noah's office then he would bring his firearm to the office and "Shoot up the place."

The suspect, who lives on MacDuff Drive in Murfreesboro, advised that he was "only joking." No arrest was made.
