Man who was allegedly beat to death in Murfreesboro to be laid to rest

40 Year old Kaithong Keomek of Murfreesboro who was reportedly beat to death on September 18th will be laid to rest on Sunday (9/25/16).

Keomek was at the Waterford Place Apartment of 39 year old Anousack Imanivong when the two became engaged in an argument. Police believe that during the argument, Keomek was beaten severely by Imanivong.

Imanivong was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and booked on a $250,000 bond at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. However, additional charges are pending.

Woodfin Funeral Home in Murfreesboro are in charge of arraingments for Keomek.

The case remains active.

VICTIM: Kaithong Keomek, date of birth 1-23-76 of Aspen Ave. Murfreesboro

ACCUSED: Anousack Imanivong, date of birth 7-28-77 of 2840 S. Church St. Murfreesboro

Keomek graduated from Riverdale High School in 1996. He was employed at Rich Products Corporation.

He was very spiritual. He volunteered and donated to charitable organizations within the community. He enjoyed sports and his favorite team is the Florida Gators. He loved spending time with loved ones, singing Thai music, going to the gym, and enjoyed reading and writing. He will be remembered for his contagious smile, love of life, and his love for his 2 daughters.

He is survived by his children Sarina and Bella Keomek, mother Pat (Toi) Keomek, and 2 brothers.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. The visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
