Murfreesboro Police Ask For Help With Armed Robbery

Murfreesboro Police are asking for assistance from the public about an armed robbery at One Stop Market at 2415 Halls Hill Pike. The crime occurred around 7:35 Friday evening, September 23rd. The case is still under investigation, but detectives have not been able to identify the two suspects.

Approximately $1,200 was taken by the two males, who went in and out of the store several times--supposedly casing the business. 

Reports indicate that the police department was initially unable to get video that night but it has now been obtained. Detective Abe Vongphakdy is the lead investigator in charge of the case. For citizens having information, they may contact him at 893-2717.

Rutherford County Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrests of the two suspects. Crime Stoppers operates Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. and may be contacted at 893-STOP (7867).
