News about the first TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE PROGRAM. The first class graduates Dec. 16, 2017. This is open to all Tennessee students, ages 16-18, who are truent and likely not to graduate from high school. Guests on the program are Rutherford County Juvenile Court Judge Donna Scott Davenport, TN Volunteer Challenge Deputy Director Greg Ash, and Recruitment/Placement/Mentoring Coordinator Leah Powell.
The TN Volunteer Challenge started its first class this past spring and the students, ages 16 to 18, will graduate December 16, 2017.
This program is FREE and all students live on campus and are away from their homes.
