The opening of Winterfest at Fountains has been postponed one-day until Sunday due to Saturday's forecast of heavy wind and thunderstorms. However, for those who can come out tonight from 6-9PM (Friday 11/17/2017), Winterfest will open for a sneak preview.
Due to Saturday's forecast of heavy wind and thunderstorms, the developers of The Fountains at Gateway have postponed the official opening of Winterfest at Fountains at Gateway until 1:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon until 9:00 that night.
Hearthstone Properties Vice President Sherri Dasilva said, "To ensure the safety of our customers - and full enjoyment on our new ice skating rink - we are postponing the official opening of Winterfest at Fountains at Gateway until Sunday. However, we will open the rink early tonight -- from 6:00 to 9:00 for those would like to be the first on the ice rink and beat Saturday's storm. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to see everyone tonight or Sunday".
Again, the Fountains developers made the difficult decision to postpone the Winterfest opening until Sunday. They are also opening for a sneak preview tonight.
