The 12th Annual MTAR Charity Golf Scramble presented by First Community Mortgage and Ameri Care Services was a great success! Held at WillowBrook Golf Club in Manchester on September 21st, the event hosted 23 teams and 67 sponsors for a record amount raised for our three charities. This year's beneficiaries of the Scramble are CASA Works, Inc., All God's Children, and the MTAR Scholarship Fund.
CASA Works, Inc. is for the abused and neglected children of Bedford, Coffee, and Franklin Counties to ensure that every child has the right to the safe embrace of a loving family. All God's Children is a food ministry in Manchester providing free breakfasts and lunches in the summer months and snacks and homework help to students K-9 during the academic school year. The MTAR Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial assistance to deserving students in MTAR's 8-county area.
