Four to five shots were heard at "The Blue Apartments" at 2707 South Rutherford Boulevard in Murfreesboro around 8:00 Tuesday night (4/3/18). When police arrived at The Blue, formerly known as "University Ridge Apartments," they were advised that dispatch had received multiple calls about the gunshots being heard.
Police report that it appeared as if the shots came from the 1200 building where a total of six shell casings were located. A fence to a nearby house was also found to be damaged. After the bullet hit the fence, it entered into a home on Haven Drive, but no one was injured.
The case is being investigated, but no arrests were made.
