(MURFREESBORO) Early Saturday (12/15/2018) morning, a pedestrian was attempting to cross I-24 in the vicinity of Old Fort Parkway (mile marker 78), when he was hit and killed by a vehicle.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that just after midnight Chad Gudvangen of Murfreesboro was hit by an SUV that was traveling toward Manchester on the interstate. Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services said that the 28-year old man died at the scene.
THP notes that neither the driver of the SUV or passenger were injured.
