Police are investigating an armed robbery that allegedly took place at the Metro PCS store on Broad Street next to O'Reilly Auto Parts. The crime unfolded this past Saturday (12/15/18).
A cashier in the cellphone store told police the subject entered the shirt brandishing a knife. The woman said that the man put the knife to her while demanding money. The female was then ordered to the ground by the culprit.
After the man fled the scene, the cashier quickly locked the door behind him. The robber got away with less than $350.
No physical injuries were reported. The armed robbery is being investigated.
