Public Invited To Saturday's STONES RIVER WATERSHED Meeting

The public is encouraged to attend the ANNUAL PUBLIC MEETING of the Stones River Watershed from 9:00AM-1:00PM this coming Saturday (6/8/2019) at the Lions Log Cabin in Cannonsburgh, 407 Hickerson Drive.

Are you concerned with March 14, 2019 precautionary report from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) not to consume bass species in a portion of the East Fork Stones River in Rutherford County due to mercury content?

The advisory extends from the mouth at the confluence with the West Fork Stones River in upper J. Percy Priest Reservoir upstream to Betty Ford Road near Lascassas. Walter Hill Lake, a small impoundment on the East Fork near the community of Walter Hill, is included in the advisory.
