Despite the winds and rain along with the ever threatening coronavirus, construction continues on the new addition at Rock Springs Elementary School located in La Vergne. The new addition costs come in at $11.4 million and was included in the Rutherford County Schools budgeting plans for construction projects between 2019 through 2024.
Another project that is reported to be a need sooner than later is a new high school, which we could see by 2024. Previous estimates rang in at $83.1 million, which seems to still be on target.
