MCS Interim Director Selected

The Murfreesboro City School Board unanimously voted on an interim director, following last week's sudden death of Dr. Linda Gilbert:



Ralph Ringstaff, who is currently and will still hold the position of Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and ESP, says it's a bittersweet appointment:



Board chairman Butch Campbell, during the Tuesday night meeting, said its vitally important to have an interim director:



The board also voted to hire the Tennessee School Boards Association to aid in the search for Dr. Gilbert's successor:



Further details are expected in early June as to how the selection process will proceed.
