Special Kids in Murfreesboro resumed therapy at their center on May 13th, after temporarily closing due to COVID-19. They are now working under the close guidance of their involved doctors, CDC Guidelines and more.
The non-profit that focuses on special needs children in our community says that their overall priority is protecting the health and well-being of their patients and staff. They have also started offering tele-therapy services for families, which has proven to be a great success for many children.
Starting this week, the Special Kids nursing center will also resume operations.
On Monday, Special Kids sent out a special thank you to everyone who has reached out to the organization in recent weeks. They also thanked the community for their donations, given supplies to help with their re-opening, or prayed for the children and staff each day.
Again, Special Kids has reopened and will continue the process of fully opening all of their services in days to come.
