On Saturday (6/20/2020), Uncle Dave Macon Days will hit the internet for a big show. Organizer Gloria Christy told WGNS NEWS...
Log in at 12 noon.
With a local impact of over 1.5 million dollars annually, Uncle Dave Macon Days has emerged from a small gathering under the stately columns of the Rutherford County Courthouse in 1978 to one of the South's largest roots music, crowd-gathering festivals located on the banks of Town Creek in Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Forty-three years later, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted large events including Uncle Dave Macon Days. Although the warm harmonies and rhythmic porch pickin' are suspended for 2020, organizers will continue in a new way for 2020.
