Murfreesboro, Tennessee: Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, PA is a proud sponsor of the Special Kids Race and would like to encourage people to join in the excitement on Saturday, March 31st. The racers can either walk or run one of the three race distances: 1 mile, 5K, or 15K. The start time for the 15K and 5K is 7:00 a.m. and the 1 mile Family Fun Run will start at 8:30 a.m. The 15K and 5K courses are certified through USATF and recognized by the Road Runners Club of America.
Special Kids is a Christian, non-profit organization located in Murfreesboro, TN, that serves children with special needs. Special Kids provides therapeutic rehabilitation and professional nursing services to children ages birth to 21 years. Since Special Kids opened its doors, over 2,200 children with special needs have been served in the Middle Tennessee area. The funds raised from the Special Kids Race will help the loving staff at Special Kids continue to serve Jesus Christ by caring for His children.
