A mobile meth lab and 26-Xanax pills were recovered during a traffic stop on Kirkwood Avenue. Police say they pulled Denise Ann Beavers over because she did not have her seatbelt on. During the stop the officer noted that Beavers and passenger Kellie Ellis were acting nervous.

After asking for permission to search the car, officers found a portable meth lab in the trunk. The Murfreesboro Fire Department was then called to the scene to remove the bio-hazardous materials.

Beavers, who is from Nashville, was charged with promotion of methamphetamine, the initiation of meth and simple possession of a schedule 4 drug. Ellis, who is from Millersville, TN, was charged with promotion of methamphetamine, the initiation of meth and simple possession of a schedule 4 drug.  The duo will appear in court on May 29th.
