A 20-year old Murfreesboro man was accused of kicking his girlfriend in the head and then stealing her car on Wednesday night. A police report shows that when they pulled Octavius A. Swader over on Middle Tennessee Boulevard, they found drugs in his possession. Swader was allegedly hiding three small bags of marijuana in a baby food can. Officers say that Swader refused to talk to them about the accusations filed by his significant other. Swader was charged with theft for allegedly stealing the car, felony possession of marijuana, domestic assault and driving without a license. Swader will appear in court on September 23rd. He was placed under an $8,500 bond.
