Murfreesboro Fraud Case: Over $7,000 Spent on Stolen Credit Cards

Murfreesboro Detectives are investigating a fraud case that involves an unknown female -accused of stealing a wallet from a shopper at Publix. The theft occurred at the grocery store on Franklin Road (Hwy 96) on November 15, 2020. Apparently, the wallet was lifted from the purse of a woman in the store.

After the subject reportedly stole the victim’s wallet, the culprit allegedly used the victims credit cards at Sam’s Club to the tune of $7,020.  The unknown woman then left the John R. Rice Boulevard store and has yet to be caught.
