ANTIOCH: Detectives Investigating Circumstances Surrounding Fatal Shooting of Tre'Von Holloway

Just across the Rutherford County line in nearby Antiooch, Tennessee, the Metro Homicide Unit is investigating Tuesday’s (1/12/2021) fatal shooting of 22-year old Tre’Von Holloway during an apparent exchange of gunfire at the Hickory Highlands Apartments, 100 Hickory Highlands Drive.

Responding South Precinct officers located Holloway in a breezeway with a gunshot wound to his chest. Ahandgun was recovered from Holloway. He was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died.

A second shooting victim, 27-year old Christopher Gulley who lives at the apartment complex, sustained serious/non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues into what led up to the gunfire. Holloway and Gulley were reportedly meeting with other occupants of a dark gray SUV in the parking lot when the shooting occurred.
