(MURFREESBORO) The snow and ice is rough on everyone, especially the Murfreesboro Solid Waste Department. The snow had stopped garbage pickup, but it resumes today (Wednesday, 2/17/2021).
Here is the revised garbage pickup for the 'Boro:
- Tuesday pick-up moved to Thursday, Feb. 18 (Due to the President's Day holiday)
- Monday garbage will move to Wednesday, Feb. 17
- Thursday's pick-up will move to Friday, Feb. 19
- Friday's pickup will move to Saturday, Feb. 20
RUTHERFORD COUNTY: Solid Waste Director Mac Nolen reports that Rutherford County's convenience stations remained closed on Wednesday (2/17/2021).
Next week should see a return to normal with temps in the 50s.
