A drug arrest was made at Birchwood apartments on Friday morning in Murfreesboro. Birchwood is on Lascassas Pike. Police responded to the complex because of a noise complaint. When Officer S. McGowen arrived he and Sgt. Cox made contact with a subject in the parking lot. The report suggested the subject was acting suspicious when he saw police.

When 19-year old Taylor Lee Wallace was ordered to show his hands, he was allegedly found to be holding a glass jar that contained marijuana. Police talked to Wallace and officers wrote in the arrest report, “Mr. Taylor Wallace admitted that he was selling marijuana and that the money he had on his person was from marijuana."

Police received permission to enter the suspects’ apartment that he shares with his brother and inside they say they found additional marijuana. Wallace was apprehended and charged with felony possession of a scheduled six drug. He will appear in court in April.
