(MURFREESBORO) Just outside the city limits, there was a Saturday morning (2/26/2022) home fire on Twin Oak Drive. The first units on-the-scene arrived around 11:00AM and reported heavy smoke billowing from the structure.
Fire crews made entry into the house and extinguished the fire.
All occupants and pets were out of the home, unharmed.
Rutherford County Fire Rescue along with Kittrell and Lascassas Fire Departments were also dispatched and RCSO and RCEMS responded as well.
Additional time was spent confirming all the fire was found and totally out.
The Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced occupants.
The Rutherford County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
