Six Smyrna High grads also complete associate degree at Bethel

Six students from Smyrna High School have graduated from Bethel University with their associate degree.  

On May 7th, the students received their degrees from Bethel President Dr. Walter Butler, who conferred the successful graduates their associate degree before Smyrna High School graduation had even commenced. The received their high school diplomas from Smyrna nine days later on May 16.

To attend the dual enrollment program, students must complete all academic requirements of the 10th grade and be classified as a junior. Additionally, participants must attain and sustain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or earn a 21 on the ACT. 

Students who earned their associates degree from Bethel University are:

  1. Hailey Cooner
  2. Karson Bostian
  3. Jerry Denton
  4. Hailey-Ann Harlan
  5. Andrew James
  6. Andy Tran
