Two men reported to police they were robbed on the 21st of February after a marijuana deal on the MTSU campus. Even though the robbery was said to have taken place on the 21st of last month, a report of the incident was not filed with the city police department until the 28th of February.

According to an incident report, Murfreesboro Police met with the two victims at the MTSU Police Department. One of the two men told officers that they went with an acquaintance to purchase marijuana from someone on the MTSU campus. After purchasing the drugs, the two men and the acquaintance supposedly went to College Grove apartments to smoke the marijuana. College Grove is off the campus at 1540 New Lascassas Pike.

The two victims who filed the report told authorities, “four black male wearing black ski masks and white gloves jumped into the vehicle.” One victim went on to say that he was punched in the face. The report shows that one victim was robbed of a jacket and backpack and the second was robbed of his PS3 and keys. The men say after the robbery they got a ride back to the campus from a random individual and the four robbers left with the aquaintance.

The case is now being investigated by the Murfreesboro Police Department. The description of offense was labeled as a strong armed robbery and theft. No arrests have been made.
