113th General Assembly Wrapping-Up

(NASHVILLE) The final weeks of the 113th Tennessee General Assembly are wrapping-up on capitol hill.

State Senator Shane Reeves said, "We're preparing to present our final bills in the Senate Health/Welfare and Commerce/Labor Committees next week. I am honored to have served on both of these committees and feel like we have really made a difference for Tennesseans this session.

Senator Reeves had two bills pass the Senate floor this past week. 

Sen. Reeves commented, "I am blessed to have been presented with the Champion of Term Limits Award from U.S. Term Limits. Thank you for considering and selecting me for this award." 

In addition, the Senate Republican Causuc will hold a BILL REVIEW meeting at 3:15PM this coming Monday (3/20/2023) as well as Thursday morning at 7:45AM (3/23/2023). This will be in the Governor's Conference Room. 

Members of the Rutherford County delegation will be on WGNS from 8:10-9:00AM on Friday morning (3/31/2023) to update the community on the work of your 113th General Assembly. The public has an opportunity to phone or text questions and comments to the broadcast at 615-893-1450.
