(MURFREESBORO) Westlawn Neighborhood Hospital celebrated its first anniversary on Wednesday (3/20/2024). This is Tennessee's first neighborhood hospital, a concept that Ascension has had much success with in other states. It is located at 5127 Veterans Parkway at the I-840 exit. The hospital has an ER as well as patient rooms.
Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford's President-CEO Gordon Ferguson noted, "We are committed to investing in our community and caring for our neighbors — making it easier to keep you and your family healthy."
The 32,000-square foot facility has eight private inpatient medical beds and an emergency department with its own set of eight treatment rooms for patients. Additionally, the facility offers diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, and outpatient services.
Westlawn Neighborhood Hospital offers a convenient 24/7 emergency room with board-certified ER physicians, inpatient hospital rooms, outpatient services, and future primary care and specialist offices on the second floor--all under one roof.
