Murfreesboro, TN - Neighbors in a residential area behind the Nissan dealership told police they heard 20 or 30 gunshots around 8:00 o'clock Saturday morning. Murfreesboro officers found several bullet casings in the North Walnut and Ridgely Road area.
Police have learned that the shots are believed to have been fired at an individual from a car that was in the area.
Thankfully there were no injuries, but as the perpetrator sped away they drove through lawns and damaged property in front of homes in the community near the St. Clair Street Senior Center.
Families are concerned for the safety of children as well as older persons living in the area.
