Police across the mid-state are trying to track down a woman accused of cashing counterfeit checks. The culprit is apparently bold enough to cash the checks at banks in Murfreesboro, Spring Hill and Lebanon. In all three circumstances, the checks were successfully cashed at First Tennessee Bank branches. So far, the checks total over $13,000.
The checks were from an account tied to a Shelby County, Tennessee victim.
