RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - Join Kim Hillsman Dunaway from Sunshine Nutrition Center this month as she explores critical aspects of women's health with a special focus on premenopause and perimenopause. Every Monday, Kim delves into various topics that affect women as they age, highlighting how many of these changes can begin at around age 45, or even earlier.

In her discussions, she addresses common experiences, such as debilitating menstrual cramps and mood swings, which are often linked to hormonal fluctuations. Kim emphasizes the importance of recognizing changes in menstrual cycles—whether cycles shift from 28 days to 21 days or extend to 35 days—as key indicators that hormonal changes are occurring.

She advocates for proactive health measures that include incorporating natural supplements and dietary modifications, often paired with medical guidance from healthcare providers, which may include hormone level testing. Additionally, Kim points out the significant number of women facing decreased libido as they navigate the aging process.
