Rutherford County, Tenn. — The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating multiple armed suspects involved in a series of car burglaries early Wednesday morning in the Blackman community.

According to Detective Grant Quintal, security camera footage captured two suspects breaking into vehicles in a neighborhood subdivision. The individuals, armed with an AR-style pistol and a handgun, stole credit cards and other personal belongings from the vehicles.

Investigators said the suspects used one of the stolen credit cards to purchase gas around 3 a.m. Wednesday at the 7-Eleven store on Veterans Parkway in Murfreesboro. About an hour later, they used another stolen card to buy food at a Waffle House located on Clarksville Pike in Nashville.

Suspect Descriptions:

A third suspect attempted to use a stolen credit card later that same day — at approximately 8:40 p.m. — to make purchases at a Walmart on Dickerson Pike in Nashville. He was seen wearing sunglasses, a red plaid shirt, a black and gray jacket, blue and white Air Jordan shoes, a yellow cross necklace, and a yellow watch. He also carried a backpack.

Detective Quintal cautioned residents not to approach any suspects, especially given the presence of firearms during these crimes. The Sheriff's Office urges anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or who can help identify these individuals to come forward. Information from residents could be crucial to helping the Sheriff's Office solve this case and prevent further crimes.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Grant Quintal directly at 615-904-3054.

Important: Residents are also reminded to remove valuables from their vehicles, lock their doors, and report any suspicious behavior to local law enforcement.
