Main Street Murfreesboro Hosts Downtown Chalk Art Contest for the Community June 14

MURFREESBORO, TN — Main Street Murfreesboro is hosting a Summer Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest on Saturday, June 14, at the Murfreesboro Public Square. The free event welcomes artists of all ages, with drawing starting at 7:30 AM and judging at 11:00 AM. First-place prizes will be awarded in three categories: Early Youth (6–13), Older Youth (14–17), and Amateur Adults (18+), while professional artists may participate but won’t be judged for prizes. Participants must bring their own washable chalk, and all artwork must be suitable for all audiences. In case of bad weather, a new date will be announced. The event is organized by the nonprofit Main Street Murfreesboro, which supports downtown revitalization.
