Rep. Bryan Terry Thanks Longtime Assistant, Welcomes New Legislative Aide

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – State Rep. Bryan Terry, R-Murfreesboro, announced a key staff transition in his Nashville office, as longtime assistant Megan Dix steps down and Alexa Anger steps into the role.

“Megan was often the first point of contact for constituents and always showed compassion for District 48 and Rutherford County,” Terry said. “She played a key role in my office and I’ll miss her insights and positive energy. We will miss her at the Capitol and wish her the very best in her next chapter.”

“Alexa brings a strong understanding of the legislative process to the team, and I’m excited to work alongside her,” Terry added. “She knows Rutherford County, understands what matters to our residents and I’m confident she will be a valuable asset to our district.”

FULL RELEASE: State Rep. Bryan Terry, R-Murfreesboro, announced a personnel change in his Nashville office, thanking longtime assistant Megan Dix and welcoming her successor, Alexa Anger.

Dix served House District 48 and the House Health Committee for seven years as Terry’s legislative assistant. In her role, she managed constituent communications and inquiries, legislation drafts and scheduled meetings.

Terry is proud to announce his new legislative assistant, Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) alumna, Alexa Anger will start on July 1.

Anger has served in the House of Representatives as a legislative assistant for nearly two years, and before that served as a bill clerk. She also interned with the Tennessee Department of Homeland Security while in college.

“Alexa brings a strong understanding of the legislative process to the team, and I’m excited to work alongside her,” Terry said. “She knows Rutherford County, understands what matters to our residents and I’m confident she will be a valuable asset to our district.”
