Deputies Uncover Drugs in McMinnville Area Home; Investigation Ongoing

McMINNVILLE, Tenn. — About 30 miles east of Rutherford County, a major drug bust in Warren County has led to one arrest, with investigators saying more charges could be on the way.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Warren County went to the home of Travis Lee Moore to serve an outstanding warrant. While at the residence, Deputy Carter noticed evidence suggesting illegal drug activity inside the home of the 35-year-old.

The area was quickly secured and investigators with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for the property. During the search, deputies found numerous illegal controlled substances along with various items of drug paraphernalia.

Moore was arrested without incident and booked into the Warren County Jail, where he remains in custody as of Wednesday evening. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.

Sheriff Matheny said his office remains committed to protecting the citizens of Warren County and keeping neighborhoods safe and drug-free.
