MIDDLE TENNESSEE - Metro Nashville Police are now treating the death of a woman found Saturday morning on Knight Valley Drive as a homicide. A man walking his dog discovered the woman’s body just after 7 a.m. near Harding Place. Her body was partially hidden by a garbage bag and left off the side of the road. Following an autopsy, the Medical Examiner determined she died from blunt force trauma and severe lacerations. The woman has not yet been identified.
Metro Police said in a release the victim is described as being a white female, with black curly hair, approximately 5’10” tall and weighing 185 pounds. She had no tattoos. Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Tips can remain anonymous, and callers may qualify for a cash reward.

Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death after a man walking his dog this morning discovered a woman’s body on Knight Valley Drive near Harding Place.
Officers arrived just after 7 a.m. and found the unidentified woman’s body covered by a garbage bag off the side of the road. The Medical Examiner is working to identify her and determine the cause of death.
