Smyrna, TN - Smyrna Fire Department Chief Brian Goss has been elected International Director for the Southeastern Association of Fire Chiefs (SEAFC), a prestigious position that places him on the board of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC).
Goss was sworn in last week during the SEAFC Annual Leadership Conference in Franklin. With more than 30 years of fire service experience, including leadership roles in Brentwood and Michigan, Goss brings seasoned expertise to the international stage.
The SEAFC also honored him with the President’s Award for his contributions to advancing emergency services. Smyrna Town Manager David Santucci praised the appointment, calling it a milestone that elevates the department’s visibility and resources.
