You've heard about the special golf course that the City of Murfreesboro is building for at-risk area youth. In conjunction with that, at 11:00 o'clock Thursday morning, June 20th, Dennis Walters will conduct a free golf trick show at the Old Fort Park Golf Club. To make it even more enticing, the first 200 kids will receive free sub sandwiches from Jersey Mikes.  People are encouraged to come early and bring a folding chair.

According to his website The Dennis Walters Golf Show is a one hour combination of "Golf Lessons and Life Lessons". It is great golf, great fun, along with an inspiring message. The show is also about reaching for dreams and Dennis is not talking about a dream you have at night. To him a real dream is having a positive thought in your head and in your heart and doing whatever it takes to make that come true. Every person should have a dream. You're never too young to have one and there certainly are no expiration dates on dreams. Also, "if you have a dream and it doesn't work out, never stop dreaming ... get a new dream!"

And speaking of living your dream, Dennis lifetime dream was to play successfully in the PGA tour. Life is fragile, and you don't know what tomorrow brings. Dennis discovered that in 1974 when an accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. That accident changed his life, but it didn't take away his dream of playing golf and helping others.

Dennis uses his own personal experience as an example to challenge each person in the audience to do something in their life that perhaps they thought was impossible, for with hard work, dedication, perseverance you can achieve success at anything.
