WWII B-17 Bomber Once More Touches Down at Smyrna Airport

The Boeing B-17 “Flying Fortress” made another landing at the Smyrna Airport this year. The plane took several local veterans up on Monday, June 10th. The B-17 will later return on June 15th through the 16th and offer ground tours of the World War II era bomber for the public to get an inside look at the plane. The plane will also be open for flights on the 15th.
