La Vergne, Tenn. – What began as a response to a domestic assault call turned into a major narcotics arrest for the La Vergne Police Department on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Officers were dispatched to the Nashville Edge Apartments on Waldron Road regarding a reported domestic assault. When investigators from the LPD Narcotics Unit arrived, they quickly recognized one of the individuals involved as the subject of an ongoing drug investigation.
During their response, investigators observed evidence of drug activity in plain view. They immediately secured a search warrant for the residence.
The search uncovered a significant amount of drugs, cash, and weapons, including:

663 Gabapentin capsules (Schedule V controlled substance)

45.2 grams of marijuana

An AR-15 rifle

$3,302 in suspected drug proceeds

Multiple sets of digital scales and baggies consistent with drug sales
The suspect was arrested and now faces multiple charges:

La Vergne Police say the arrest highlights the connection between domestic violence calls and potential criminal activity.
