LA VERGNE, Tenn. – La Vergne Police made two major narcotics arrests on back-to-back days this week, seizing large quantities of drugs, cash, and even a firearm as part of their ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activity in Rutherford County.

September 15 Arrest – Nashville Edge Apartments - On Monday, September 15, 2025, officers with the La Vergne Police Department responded to the Nashville Edge Apartments on Waldron Road following a domestic assault call. Narcotics Investigators were notified and recognized one of the individuals involved as the subject of an ongoing drug investigation.

Evidence of narcotics activity was observed in plain view, prompting investigators to obtain a search warrant for the residence. The search led to the seizure of:

September 16 Arrest – Dick Buchanan Street

Just one day later, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, a routine traffic stop resulted in another significant bust. Officer Wolfe conducted a stop near 107 Dick Buchanan Street for multiple traffic violations. During the encounter, Officer McCall detected the odor of marijuana.

The driver admitted to possessing narcotics, leading to a probable cause search. Officers recovered:
